اطلاعات ہیں کہ امریکا اور افغان طالبان ایک حتمی امن سمجھوتے پر دستخط کریں گے۔ اس ڈیل کے بعد کی صورت حال پر ابھی بھی دھند چھائی ہے کہ آیا حقیقی امن کا قیام ممکن ہے۔ امن ڈیل سے ایسی امیدوں کو تقویت حاصل ہوئی ہے کہ امریکا کی طویل ترین جنگ اپنے منطقی انجام کو پہنچنے والی ہے۔ اب اس ڈیل پر دستخط کیے جانے سے قبل سات روزہ تشدد ختم کرنے کے عبوری معاہدے پر سب کی نگاہیں جمی ہوئی ہیں کہ ان ایام میں جنگ بندی کا احترام ہی مستقبل کے امن معاہدے کا رخ متعین کرے گا۔ یہ بھی سوال گردش میں ہے کہ اگر کوئی عسکریت پسند بارودی جیکٹ کو دارالحکومت کابل میں پہنچ کر اڑا دے اور کئی انسانی جانیں اس کی لپیٹ میں آ جائیں تو امریکی رد عمل کیا ہو گا۔ اسی طرح اگر امریکی جنگی جہاز ‘اسلامک اسٹیٹ‘ کے ٹھکانوں پر بمباری کریں تو پھر طالبان کا جواب کیا ہو گا۔ اس سات روزہ عبوری ڈیل پر عمل شروع ہو گیا ہے۔
